Here are some of the ideas I had in mind whilst making the work.

I was thinking about the representations, of women in art history, I wanted  to suggest a link with  that tradition (an alternative one).  The solitary women in a landscape or interior where the setting is telling you about the persons identity and circumstances except  I am interested in depicting internal states.
